Dehradun, April 13
The government has appointed Director-General, Technical Services, Uttarakhand Police, Vijay Raghav Pant as new DGP.
Principle Secretary, Home, DK Kotia said since former DGP Jyoti Swaroop Pandey had decided to opt for voluntary retirement, his request had been accepted. He has been nominated as member of the State Police Reformation Commission. The commission will have only one member, whose tenure will be for one year.
